Dr. Vernon brings a wealth of experience to Vernon Physical Therapy, specializing in orthopedics and spinal pain across diverse clinical settings. His expertise extends beyond manual therapy and dry needling techniques, as he’s also certified in Isernhagen Functional Capacity Testing for comprehensive patient evaluation. Dr. Vernon’s commitment to the profession is evident through his long-standing membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (since 2000) and his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential (since 1998) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Dr. Vernon’s dedication goes beyond the clinic. He has co-authored published research in the Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology, demonstrating his passion for furthering the field. His impressive background even includes being a preceptor for the orthopedic section of the National Nurse Practitioner Symposium and working with the medical staff at the ESPN Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado. A true Colorado native, Dr. Vernon enjoys an active lifestyle outside of work, embracing activities like fly fishing, cycling, golfing, and snowboarding.
